Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) in collaboration with AIC- GGSIPU and WIPO organised a workshop on Innovation and Intellectual Property (IP) to enhance the use of IP for school students. The workshop designed for ATL Teachers serves as the first step in building an IP led Innovation ecosystem for school students. The training session provided opportunity to gain insights from IP and industry experts, enhance the knowledge on current IP trends, and relevance for school students. The workshop was graced by esteemed delegates Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Mr. Sherif Saadallah, and VC @Atal Incubation Centre - GGSIPU, Prof Dr Mahesh Verma. We are elated to share that our School got shortlisted as one of the top 36 schools across India for the prestigious National Level Student Entrepreneurship Program “Made In 3D: Seed the Future Entrepreneurs Program Season 2023”! by Dassault systems in association with Atal Innovation Mission, Niti Aayog. ATL team of 6 students and two teachers have undergone the 6 months long Entrepreneurship program and completed the project. DL DAV Model School proudly celebrates the success of its students Arjun Manocha, Arham Jain, Swasti Sharma, and Ananya Pandey for their recognition at the ISB Catalyst event for their projects ‘Sporty Coach’ and ‘Anndata’. Their journey began at Tinkerpreneur 2022, advancing to the Atal Catalyst Program 2.0. From 9600 participants, they were among the 21 teams to pitch to investors, with 10 securing funding. Arjun Manocha and Arham Jain are among the top 10 teams at National Level and their project Sporty Coach- an AI based Application has received a sponsorship of Rs. 25000/- from DLabs to further refine their digital products and take them to the market. Both the teams were invited for the Felicitation Ceremony held at Atal Incubation centre, ISB, Chandigarh and their innovation story is published by Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog in the Coffee Table Booklet.

Congratulations to Daksh Thukral and Tanay Singh of class IX for being selected among Top 10 students under Junior Category of Global Entrepreneurship Olympiad. In the same Olympiad conducted by ThinkStartup Arjun Manocha and Simranjeet Kaur, students of class X are among Top 10 Students in the Senior Category. Global Entrepreneurship Olympiad aspires to encourage all school students to actively understand and pursue innovation and entrepreneurship.
