Atal Tinkering Lab @ DLDAVPP

"The best way to predict the future is to create it,” It is indeed a moment of immense joy to share that DL DAV Model School Pitampura celebrated its sixth anniversary of Atal Tinkering Lab. The Lab was inaugurated in 2018 under the aegis of Atal Innovation Mission , NITI Aayog and has been channelizing learning towards the application of innovative skills,contributing towards a robust future in a sustainable world. An Expert Mentor session was organised for students to gain insights for creating value in their innovation by Mr. Utkarsh Ahuja, Regional Mentor of Change for Delhi, Director of Contriver Autonomous Systems Pvt Ltd, GEM of Mentor India 2022, and Expert Evaluation Panel Member for AIM North Delhi.

India commemorates its first National Space Day on August 23, 2024, celebrating the Chandrayaan-3 mission's successful Moon landing anniversary! On this occasion,our students participated in the Virtual Panel Discussion, which covered Chandrayaan 3 and ISRO's amazing contributions to space exploration, careers in space science and technology for students and more relevant topics, while moving along with the theme of the day. Students also explored Bharat on The Moon portal by the National Council of Educational Research and Training - NCERT and participated in Apna Chand rayaan Quiz.

  Generation Green Campaign at DL DAV Public School Pitampura, a collaborative initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), OPPO India, and the 1M1B Foundation . To mark a significant step towards fostering sustainability and empowering our youth with essential skills our school has initiated the campaign and has organised a week long activities. The theme for Day 1 was Nature and Biodiversity, involving Eco Club for plantation drive in the school and students taking Generation Green Pledge. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle was the agenda for Day 2 this focusing on reducing Plastic Waste. School collaborated with Rotract club of BPIT where in students from Dristhi club delivered a session on waste management and ECOTOPIA- Formation of Ecobricks project was carried out. Promoting Sustainability through Gamification was organised on Day 3 by School Innovation Club Ambassadors..

  Sanchi Bansal and Aayushi Singhal Class XI bagged Third Position in Girls Tech event and Tanay Singh of class IX along with Kanishk Sharma and Anvay Asri of class XII bagged Second Position in Vebots Event. The event was a mélange of computer-based activities providing a dynamic opportunity for learners to showcase their technological and logistic skills.

  Daksh Thukral (IX) and Arjun Manocha(X) bagged the first position in Global Entrepreneurship Olympiad junior and senior category individually, hosted by Thinkstartup . They will be rewarded with a visit to ISRO. This prestigious event aims to inspire and encourage students to explore the realms of innovation and Entrepreneurship.
