Generation Green Campaign

☘️ Generation Green Campaign♻️at

DL DAV Public School Pitampura, a collaborative initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), OPPO India, and the 1M1B Foundation.
To mark a significant step towards fostering sustainability and empowering our youth with essential skills our school has initiated the campaign and has organised a week long activities.
The theme for Day 1 was Nature and Biodiversity, involving Eco Club for plantation drive in the school and students taking Generation Green Pledge.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle was the agenda for Day 2 this focusing on reducing Plastic Waste.
School collaborated with Rotract club of BPIT where in students from Dristhi club delivered a session on waste management and ECOTOPIA- Formation of Ecobricks project was carried out.
Promoting Sustainability through Gamification was organised on Day 3 by School Innovation Club Ambassadors..

  Our school bagged the Outstanding Initiative of the year in Robotics during 3rd India STEM Summit & Awards'20, organised by All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) on 13th Feb at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi.  The summit was inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of MSME, Road Transport and Highways. A proud moment for D.L.D.A.V Model School ,Pitam Pura as our ATL was inaugurated on 29 August 2018 by M r.Deepanshu,Expert,Atal Innovation Mission and Sh.Shrideep Omchery,Chairman of the school.The occassion was graced by members of LMC ,Alumni and Principals of DAV institutions.The project showcase included 3-D printing,innovative ideas which can be beneficial for community.The efforts of students were appreciated by all the guests attending the ceremony.The interaction between guests and students encouraged them to develop their skills and aim to design for community.Thanks to Principal Ma'am Ms.Anita Wadehra for continuous support and guidance.
