Fostering Innovation | Empowering Young Minds - Design Thinking Workshop

DL DAV Model School, Pitampura proudly hosted a dynamic Design Thinking Session for students of Classes IX–XII, as part of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow initiative — in collaboration with Samsung, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (IIT Delhi), and ThinkStartup. The session was graced by distinguished experts including: Mr. Ankur Rawal, IIT Bombay alumnus and clean air innovation leader, with experience at the Council of Energy, Environment and Water, Indian Energy Exchange, Google, and Samsung Ms. Vanita Vasudeva, a key driver of India’s innovation ecosystem through Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and FITT Mr. Sujit Nair, Marketing Manager at Samsung Ms. Vandana Ahluwalia, Chief Business Officer, ThinkStartup Mr. Gaurav and Ms. Sahiba, mentors from ThinkStartup Students engaged in hands-on ideation and problem-solving exercises that sparked creativity and encouraged real-world innovation. Raman Young Science Innovator (RYSI) Award

Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Pitampura has been honoured with the School of Science Excellence Award under the prestigious Raman Young Science Innovator (RYSI) Awards, which promote scientific curiosity and STEM learning. We are also proud of Sarvesha Arora of Class 8, who was selected as a National Finalist in the Senior Category for her project DIY Galvanometer.
